So here are my favorite baby carriers and wraps at the moment. I don’t think a mom who is not a babywearing educator needs this many carriers. 🙂 Still, I use all 5 of these carriers regularly in various everyday situations and I think other moms might love them too. (Note: I’m not currently affiliated with any of these companies in any way, just sharing my honest love of these products.)
This is my favorite woven wrap I have tried so far. Why? It's soft and sturdy at the same time and it did not need long break-in time. Since it's a wrap, it is really comfortable, snug and cozy. I just love these deep pink and yellow colors and how they blend together in this wrap. I own the Ada wrap in size 6, which is my base size. Whenever I feel like using a woven wrap, this one is my first choice.
The most comfortable full buckle carrier I have ever tried. And to go even further, I haven't come across any Meh Dais or Wrap Conversions that would be more comfortable for my body type than this carrier. I don't know how that's even possible, but this carrier is comfier on the front than most other carriers on the back. Similarly to shoes, which baby carrier model is comfortable for you can be very individual for each body structure. That said, this one really works for my body. One huge bonus for me is that the Ruckeli carrier has the option to cross the shoulder straps on the back and close them with the buckles at the lower half of the back panel. This way, the straps go way below my mastitis prone breasts. However, as much as I love this carrier on the front, I could not get used to it for back carries. I guess, it is just not for me on the back.
I'm pretty much in love with ring slings. They're the most uncomplicated baby carrier ever. Super quick to get baby in and out, they don't take much space in a bag. Just perfect for shorter carries. For longer walks or activities, they're not my favorite as my baby is getting bigger and his weight gets quickly too much for one shoulder. I love the sleek design of this LIMAS ring sling. Not too bright and showy, still very pretty.
Another full buckle on the list? Yes, I wanted to include this Kokadi carrier to my favorite baby carriers list because it's very supportive and I love the design. I'm kind of ok with wearing my baby for an hour or so in this carrier on the front (as mentioned before, nothing could beat the Ruckeli baby carrier in comfort on the front). But after that, it starts getting uncomfortable. However, it's gentle on my body when worn on the back. Have I mentioned the design? Oh, that pink and blue... 🙂
This wrap conversion carrier is really soft and supportive. I also like the no-bullshit kind of simplicity of this carrier, which feels even more minimal in this simple grey design. The WrapMySol feels ok for my body when front carrying, but for me, it really shines for back carrying. It's very adjustable. Like most wrap conversions, the WrapMySol can be worn with and without capped shoulders. Besides, it has two tunnels for the waistband. This makes it really easy to adjust for both smaller and bigger babies.
