How To Wear Your Baby?

Learn from My Babywearing Mistakes With a Quiz

 July 12, 2020

I like to thing of this blog as a judgement free zone where no mom-shaming is allowed. Even if someone makes “huge” babywearing mistakes. Because you know, we all make mistakes, don’t we? And there’s no shame in not being good at something we’re learning. That said, make sure you understand the basics of babywearing safety. Including the whys.

To be honest, babywearing mistakes are not black and white. It also depends on the situation. There’s a difference between : “baby is just a little lower than ideal, but I can monitor her while fixing myself a sandwich and then I’ll take her out” and “baby is low, but let’s grab a coffee and have a deep conversation even though she has started to slump down”. But how can we learn to avoid mistakes if we don’t see them pointed out? That’s why I created this quick quiz. Please excuse the quality of the pictures, most of them weren’t made with the intention to ever share them. So let’s see if you can spot my babywearing mistakes.
